DESCRIPTION: |
Use this Softpaq only if you are having trouble playing the DVD movie "Lord of the Rings"on a notebook that has DVD drive model LGDRN8080B. The DVD drive model can be found inthe properties display of the Device Manager. This SoftPaq creates a bootable diskette that upgrades the firmware in DVD drive model LGDRN8080B only. When the diskette is used on a computer with any other model ofDVD drive, the program does not run and nothing happens. |

HOW TO USE: |
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to create a bootable diskette. 3. Make sure the notebook is connected to A/C power and the newly created bootable diskette remains inserted in drive A. 4. Restart the notebook, allowing it to reboot from the upgrade diskette. 5. Follow the onscreen instructions. The program detects the DVD model and applies the firmware upgrade only if the model is LGDRN8080B. Otherwise the program does not run and simply exits. 6.
