DESCRIPTION:
This package contains utilities that can be used to restore or update the 
system BIOS on the listed HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5000 and HP Compaq 
Business Desktop dx2000 models with a 786B0 BIOS.

Several methods for changing the BIOS version are included in this package. 
Choose from the following methods:
- Create a ROMpaq bootable BIOS upgrade/restore diskette
- Upgrade the BIOS directly in the Microsoft Windows environment using the 
HPQFlash utility
- Create a ROMpaq bootable BIOS upgrade/restore CD

This package has the ability to be used with SSM, HPCMS, or PXE management 
software for remote updating of the BIOS.

NOTE: To determine the BIOS family and BIOS date, press F10 on the target 
computer during system Power On to run the Setup Utility. Then select 
File/System Information. This information can be saved into a text file on a 
diskette or on a USB flash media device by selecting File/Save to Diskette. In 
order for a USB flash media device to be recognized by the computer, the device 
must be attached before the computer is Powered On.
