ENHANCEMENTS:
- Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 3B Mini PCI Adapter driver Version 8.0.12.20000 for
Windows XP provides a small increase in 802.11b transmit power over over
the previous drivers.
- Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter driver Version 1.2.2.8 for
Windows XP.
PREREQUISITES:
- If Microsoft Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support for Windows XP
Wireless Zero Configuration Service is desired (see Microsoft Knowledge
Base Article 815485) and if the current Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B Mini
PCI Adapter for Windows XP driver version is 1.1.6.0, install this SoftPaq
before installing the update in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 815485.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack
the files. The number of files to be created and total file size is
displayed. You are given the chance to specify the target directory for
the files, or to use the default download directory.

3. After the files have been unpacked, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in
Step 1 can be deleted, if desired.

4. After the files are unpacked, the Setup program should run automatically.
If the setup program (wdrvinst.cmd) needs to be run manually,
look for it in the download directory.
