CS32BAOP.EXE The Business Audio Mixer panel for Windows NT CS32BAIP.EXE The Business Audio Input panel for Windows NT CSBAIP.HLP The Help file for the Business Audio Input panel CSBAOP.HLP The Help file for the Business Audio Mixer panel New Features: 1. PnP support for Win NT 4.0 on systems using DEV NODES. 2. 4236B support for parts bonded with a 4236 ID. 3. Support for APM on portables with custom APM enhancements. Bug Fixes: 1. AVI stutter after Suspend/Resume when in full duplex and playing an AVI file. 2. I/O Panel not reflecting proper duplex selected. Full duplex was always shown even when the part was in "Half" or "Enhanced" duplex. Bugs Not Fixed in This Release: 1. Incomplete volume linkage between the NT Volume Control panel (SNDVOL32.EXE) and the Crystal Mixer, Input panels, and CS32BA11 driver components. These issues and solutions are described below. Muting: Since there is no correlation between the SYNTH.SYS driver and the Crystal CS32BA11 driver, then Muting via one of the Mixer panels will not be reflected in the other panel. FM Synthesis Volume: The SYNTH.SYS driver must be loaded in order to play Midi files on the Crystal CS4232/6 part. The Synth slider control on the NT Volume Control panel will directly affect the volume level via the SYNTH.SYS driver through the OPL interface. Manipulating the Crystal Synth slider will change the volume via the CS4232/6 driver. Since there is no callback feature to link these two panels then the Crystal Mixer will attempt to synchronize the Synth volume by issuing an IOCTL call to the SYNTH.SYS driver when initialized to set the maximum volume level for the SYNTH.SYS driver. 2. When playing a WAV file with VU meter on, attempting to record at a frequency that is not the same as the playing WAV, will cause a quick 1 second burst of noise. 3. Selecting print from help, when there is no printer available, will cause the bitmaps within the help system to disappear. Reported Bugs that are no longer a problem. 1. Multiple restarts causing a system hang.
