9/13/95 News Release Adaptec ICs Achieve ISO Certification for Quality Milpitas, Calif, - September 13, 1995 - The Electronics Industries Quality Registry has granted ISO 9001 certification to Adaptec for the "design and manufacture of integrated circuits," according to a statement released today by Adaptec CEO Grant Saviers. "This is an extraordinary tribute to the quality assurance we've been able to achieve and sustain at Adaptec," said Saviers. "The quality system requirements developed by the International Organization for Standardization mean we have to consistently deliver products to one rigorous specification.
