Before enabling traps, you need to specify
the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) trap port to which traps are sent.

Enter set trap_port. |

displayed: UDP port [162]? |

Enter the UDP port number for the trap port
that is to receive traps. The default is the standard trap port (162). |

Press Return. The specified UDP port number
is assigned and the SNMP Config> prompt is displayed. |

Log out of the Telnet session and terminate
the connection. |
