	  If a block on the first tape is written but drive reports
	  a failure, the block is written again on the second tape
	  during a backup. When restoring, both blocks are read
	  and a sequence number checking reports error.

	  Resolution:
	  A sequence number checking is changed and will only
	  report a warning if a duplicated block is encountered
	  and continue with restore.

	  Socket path is truncated due to the system limitation
	  of storing a socket path only up to 93 characters.

	  Resolution:
	  Restore a socket in a socket path only with a socket
	  name.

	  New environment variable "OB2DBG" is introduced in the

	  Protector processes.

	   SYNOPSIS:

	      OB2DBG=<ranges> <postfix> <select>

	   EXAMPLE:

	      OB2DBG=1-200 HPDBG.txt

	  <ranges> and <postfix> options are mandatory for
	  debugging to start. For more information on Data
	  Protector debugging options, refer to the "trace" file
	  located in the "<Data_Protector_home>\Config\Options"
	  directory on Windows Cell Manager and in the
	  "/etc/opt/omni/options" directory on the UNIX Cell
	  Manager.

	  When there are large numbers of symbolic links, the CIFS
	  file server cannot handle all Disk Agent's ACL read
	  requests in a timely manner.

	  Resolution:
	  The "OB2DISABLESOFTLINKACL" variable has been introduced
	  in the "omnirc" file to avoid querying the CIFS file
	  server for the ACL of symbolic links. To disable the ACL
	  reads, set the value of this variable to 1.

	  Note: If this variable is set, the ACL permissions of
	  symbolic links will not be backed up.

	  Total Kbytes calculation in Volume Restore Disk Agent
	  (VRDA) is slightly different than in Volume Backup Disk
	  Agent (VBDA).

	  Resolution:
	  Total Kbytes calculation is corrected.

	  message may appear when restoring hardlinks (pointing to

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHSS_30575

	5. Run swinstall to install the patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
			  -s /tmp/PHSS_30575.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in 
	/var/adm/sw/save/PHSS_30575.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
	option in the swinstall command above:
