experience a "kalloc: out of virtual space" panic or a hang. PHNE_26730: - Multicast traffic over ATM ELAN may not be restored after the local fail over. - Multicast Mac addresses registered on an ELAN interface are not displayed by the elstat command. - Failure Indication messages logged by LEC stack are not intuitive. - Data page fault in function LDI_F0_search1_sap_entry(). - The enhancement provided in PHNE_25503 to allow the LEC to automatically discover a new ATM address (JAGad32998,JAGaa02632) has been removed. PHNE_25503: - False error message from ATM SAM while configuring lan cards. - SAM adds ATM_VAR=0 instead of updating/replacing in /etc/rc.config.d/atmconf. - Script error while updating from 11.0 to OEUR-0601. - Traffic descriptors not taken into account for LanEmul Token-Ring. - A5513A card is sometimes not claimed on reboot, on a V2200 system. - Running several instances of atmmgr simultaneously may corrupt some global data structures resulting into system crash. - "atmconfig show -n" on a non-existent CIP interface causes system to panic. - Panic in function paHcFreeConnCb - data page fault. - Accessing freed memory while using LANE in Token-Ring mode. - panic in LDI_F_set_fastpath/bcopy while processing a badly formatted DLPI msg. - LEC does not automatically discover new ATM address. - Data page fault in function LVC_F0_remove. - Many ERROR logging messages: [CAAM] Bad Call Reference value. - Data page fault in asAsdRstInd (11.0 vmtrace on) - panic Data page fault in function cmMemcmp while handling NARP request. - panic in SPutMsg with vmtrace on while running netperf tests. - Memory leak in the 512 bytes bucket when running heavy traffic on LEC. - Data page fault in function IAM_F0_lrput. - ATM A5513A ATM_err_1304: VPI/VCI range is invalid. - Lost of ILMI connectivity may be experienced during heavy network and/or NFS traffic over ATM. - hatmon prevents package in mc/service guard to start after reboot. - Buffer overrun panic in LEC Glue code when doing TR traffic. - System panic due to stack overflow on machines with large number of ELANs configured on a card. - Enhancement to be able to get the hardware revision for a PCI ATM card without having to pull the card out. - When Lecs from network, too many ilmi requests eats cpu on the switch. PHNE_22034: - data page fault panic in hdm_disconnect_req. - Can not initialize link with Lucent M770 switch - rstatd hangs on systems that have ATM installed. - ifOperStatus (for "Operational Status") and ifAdminStatus (for "Administrative status") are inconsistent for CIP interface. - Data memory protection fault or unaligned data reference panic in LIF_F_handler when using Token Ring source routing. - Unable to traffic in an HA configuration, when the primary interface comes up after both primary and backup interfaces had been down. - System panic during boot in alx_complete_conreq - System panics during boot from /sbin/rc2.d/S310atm in getmsg_subr, with message: panic Buffer Overrun. - Data page fault panic in amGenStaInd - Data page fault panic in alx_read_resume PHNE_20948: - Elan interface is unable to go up even when the card and the interface are restarted. - Data page fault panic in function paEcELE11S7 when the LECS is restarted. - data page fault panic in function bcopy_pxcu_method - SAM is unable to list installed network cards if the ATM subsystem is not initialized. - channel error in driver atm2pci panics experienced on V-class servers. - Data transfer problems over an ATM CIP interface with very large MTU size (> 32K). - Interoperability problems caused by LANE eavesdropping. - Cannot join Elan services if the LAN type is not specified during the configuration phase. - ATM LEC interface unable to become operational after carrier lost if the LECS address is configured from network. - The ATM SNMP subagent daemon (atmsubagt) cannot run on system with PA RISC 1.1. PHNE_19506: - data page fault panic in function paMcRemoveIngressEntry. - ATM subsystem start-up failure if no ATM card installed - Static routes over ATM elan interface fail with error: network unreachable. - High error rate reported by Glance for ELAN interfaces. - Cannot do Token Ring source routing if LECS does not provide Segment ID in the LE_CONFIGURE_RESPONSE. - MAC LEARP entries not deleted or updated. - ATM driver logs as errors, messages which are just informatives. - A patch can be installed on a subsequent release. - Impossible to configure Lan Emulation interfaces when a multiple of 8 number of cards installed. Defect Description: PHNE_28754: - JAGae35881: Systems with ATM LANE may experience a "kalloc: out of virtual space" panic or a hang due to memory exhaustion. Resolution: - JAGae35881: The usage of system memory for ATM has been improved. The patch pre-enables the system memory improvement. Additional manual steps are necessary to complete this issue. Please contact HP for the additional steps if you are experiencing this problem. PHNE_26730: - JAGae00281: ATM deletes the Multicast MAC address, if there is a duplicate registration of a Multicast MAC address. This occurs in the case of some local HA switch-overs. In such cases, ATM drops Multicast packets. - JAGae10213: Enhancement request for the elstat command to display the list of Multicast MAC addresses registered on an ELAN interface. - JAGae09966: The following generic message is displayed when most of the configuration operations fail. [LEC] (LCS) (STADDR/STLANDST) status indication failed (Module ID 12) (Sap number 1) (Type 0) (Evnt 60) It would be better if the above message is more informative instead of just displaying the numbers for TYPE, EVENT and MODULE ID. - JAGae01380: The system crashes with data page fault in function LDI_F0_search1_sap_entry, when DL_UNBIND_REQ primitive is received on an ELAN interface which is already freed. - The enhancement provided in PHNE_25503 that allowed the LECs and MPCs to recognize new ATM address without the need for an atminit_net was removed. It will be necessary for atminit_net to be executed whenever the switch to which the ATM card is connected is changed OR the network prefix of the switch to which the ATM card is connected is changed. Resolution: - JAGae00281: On receiving a duplicate Multicast MAC address registration, ATM, does not delete the already registered Multicast MAC address. - JAGae10213: A new option "-m" is added for the elstat command to display the Multicast MAC addresses registered on an ELAN interface. Also the man page for elstat command is updated with the new option and the description of various fields. - JAGae09966: The Logging of the Failure Indication messages has been changed such that, instead of just logging numbers for TYPE, EVENT and MODULE it logs the text representation of it. As an example, the following Failure Indication message is displayed when registration of Multicast MAC address on an ELAN interface fails. [LEC] (LCS) (STADDR/STLANDST) Failure Indication (Module ID LEC) (Sap number 2) (Error Type: LPA_STA_EVNT_INV) (Event: LPA_EVTCNTRLREQ) - JAGae01380: Code is modified such that freed memory is not accessed. This was happening because of a race condition between atmstop and atminit commands. PHNE_25503: - JAGad67950, JAGad67952, JAGad26512: False error message from ATM SAM while configuring lan cards. SAM shows error msg that ATM is not configured even when there are no ATM cards present in the system. - JAGad90435: SAM adds ATM_VAR=0 instead of updating/replacing in /etc/rc.config.d/atmconf. SAM adds the line ATM_VAR=" 0" each time the atm configuration is accessed. The line should either be updated/replaced or left alone. - JAGad56235: Script error while updating from 11.0 to OEUR-0601. In updating from 11.00 AR0301 to B.11.11 OEUR-0601 ic4 the following error was discovered: [20255] Running "preinstall" script for fileset "ATMCORE.ATMCORE-KRN". ps: couldn't get console device alias ps: not enough memory for hash table syncer: a syncer process already exists. - JAGaa03115: Traffic descriptors not taken into account for LanEmul Token-Ring. When some traffic descritors are created to traffic in Token-Ring ELANs, atmconfig command gives no error but they are never taken into account for traffic between ATM token ring ELAN and Token ring network or between two ATM NICs on the Token Ring Elan. - JAGad53408: A5513A card is sometimes not claimed on reboot, on a V2200 system. The ATM A5513A card sometimes does not get claimed on reboot, due to a read of the PCI Vendor ID register returning 0xFFFFFFFF. - JAGad40528: Running several instances of atmmgr simultaneously may corrupt some global data structures resulting into system crash. If several atmmgr are launched at the same time, the linked list IAM_V0_str_list gets corrupted. - JAGad90063: "atmconfig show -n" on a non-existent CIP interface causes system to panic. "atmconf show -n" causes the system to panic if the CIP interface specified correspond to an ATM NIC that does not exist. - JAGad22101: Panic in paHcFreeConnCb - data page fault. paHcFreeConnCb is passed a conn block that is already freed. The problem happens due to reentry into Trillium code. - JAGad67861: Accessing freed memory while using LANE in Token-Ring mode. While handling the ARP packet in an ELAN working in TR mode, a new mblk_t is allocated and the data is copied from the original mblk_t, and the original mblk_t is freed. when the freed mblk_t is accessed, with vmtrace on, system panics. - JAGad78323: panic in LDI_F_set_fastpath/bcopy while processing a badly formatted DLPI msg. When a bad DL_IOC_HDR_INFO packet is sent from the higher layer (say IP) to the ATM ELAN interface, the system panics. - JAGad32998,JAGaa02632: LEC does not automatically discover new ATM address. When a switch is replaced with a new atm address prefix, atminit_net of the the elan interface need to be done in order for the LEC to be aware of the new ATM address. - JAGad53657: Data page fault in function LVC_F0_remove. LVC_F0_remove could not handle a case where the given LVC_ctx pointer is not in the list and it caused a data page fault triggering a panic. - JAGad43098,JAGad78122: Many ERROR logging messages: [CAAM] Bad Call Reference Value. These messages show up when starting, stopping a card with ELAN interface configured. - JAGab83144: Data page fault in asAsdRstInd (11.0 vmtrace on). During processing of ERROR RECOVERY pdu, asAsdRstInd is called with dlc as parameter but dlc is already freed resulting in the data page fault. - JAGad48137,JAGad02467: panic Data page fault in function cmMemcmp while handling NARP request. The problem happens because code is not able to handle a NARP request coming in, when the LEC has sent out an LE_ARP_REQUEST frame. - JAGad33804: panic in SPutMsg with vmtrace on while running netperf tests. The Vmtrace detected that a memory location that was freed was accessed by the ATM code while processing a Multi-Cast Send Disconnect Indication triggering a system panic. - JAGab50672: Memory leak in the 512 bytes bucket when running heavy traffic on LEC. The buffer allocated by paLeDecTLV() called from paEcHccDatInd and stored in frame.usrTLVBuf is not always freed. - JAGad26995: Data page fault in function IAM_F0_lrput. CIP crashes when processing a message received on one lower read queue because the stream context pointed to by q_ptr has been deallocated. - JAGad71898: ATM A5513A ATM_err_1304: VPI/VCI range is invalid. When replacing obsoleted J3557A ATM card with the new card (A5513A), the system failed to initialise the card, and give the following error : "ATM_err_1304: VPI/VCI range is invalid" - JAGad17083,JAGad77776: Lost of ILMI connectivity may be experienced during heavy network and/or NFS traffic over ATM. On some heavy loaded systems, ILMI is unable to maintain its keep alive mechanism because it is blocked in some system calls especially stat and it is not running in real time priority. - JAGac42555: hatmon prevents package in mc/service guard to start after reboot. After a reboot of a mc service guard cluster the SAP package does not start and so ATM interface cards which are a monitored resource for the package could not be monitored. The problem happens only when the NLS (Native Language Support) environment is set and environment variable LANG is set to a value other than the default "C". - JAGad16083: Buffer overrun panic in LEC Glue code when doing TR traffic. As the TR ARP packets are small,LEC glue code was writing extra 36 bytes ( 2*MAX_RIF_LENGTH) to the ARP mblk. With the introduction of ARENA allocator, a new check has been introduced to see whether the buffer provided is overwritten on buffer return and if so, then the system is made to panic. - JAGad00564: System panic due to stack overflow on machines with large number of ELANs configured on a card. System panic due to stack overflow while doing atminit on a card which has large number (about 28) of ELANs configured. - JAGad65160: Enhancement to be able to get the hardware revision for a PCI ATM card without having to pull the card out. The hardware revision of the ATM card needs to be saved in the ift structure for easy identification of ATM hardware on the system. - JAGad98237: When Lecs from network, too many ilmi requests eats cpu on the switch. When an elan is configured to get the LECS address from the network, and if the LECS is down, the ILMI request for the LECS address is sent very frequently - one every few tenths of a second, causing the CPU on the switch side to hit 100 % usage. (SNMP object-id : 1.3.6.1.4.1.353.2.8.1.1.3.0.10.1.3.6.1.4.1.353.1.5.1) Resolution: - JAGad67950,JAGad67952,JAGad26512: atm_check_subsystem() function has been modified such a way that no message will be displayed when there are no ATM cards installed on the system. - JAGad90435: The additional spaces inserted by the AppendLine function at the beginning of the line has been removed and the DeleteLine function greps for "ATMVAR" at the beginning of the line and removes the line on finding the same. - JAGad56235: Removed syncher restart and added /usr/sbin/sync to the postinstall and postremove scripts of patches. - JAGaa03115: DLSAP-traffic descriptor is modified such that the right traffic descriptor is picked up from Token Ring ELAN. - JAGad53408: The attach routine has been modified to claim the card, even if the read of the Vendor ID register returns 0xFFFFFFFF. - JAGad40528: The allocation of a minor number and inserting the stream context into stream list is made atomic. - JAGad90063: CIP module is changed such that the PPA is tested to be valid before any MIB operation. - JAGad22101: The fix is to modify the state machine, so thet LEC glue does not call delete MSAP when in MSAP_CFG_PND state - JAGad67861: The function LDI_F_data_ind() is modified such that the various pointers point into the newly allocated mblk_t and so will not access the old freed mblk_t. - JAGad78323: Appropriate checks has been added to validate the the DL_IOC_HDR_INFO packet before processing the request. - JAGad32998, JAGaa02632 : The elan_mgmt state machine and the mpc_mgmt state machine have been changed, so that one can pull the cable from an ATM card (switch end) and put the cable onto a different switch, then the lec's and mpc's would come up on their own, without the need for an atminit_net. - JAGad53657: LVC_F0_remove() code is fixed such that it is able to process properly, even if the given LVC_ctx pointer is not in the list and not cause a panic. - JAGad43098,JAGad78122: Signaling glue was sending two release_conf when a setup_req failed. CAAM was logging this bad behavior. Function SSV_F0_a_setup_req was modified to avoid sending a second release_conf. - JAGab83144: After returning from the SSCOP state machine, dlc is checked such that functions such as asAsdRstInd() will not be called if the dlc is already freed. - JAGad48137,JAGad02467: The fix is to ensure that the cmMemcmp() is called only if the atmAddrEnt is NOT-NULL, while handling the No-Source NARP Request, for both the MAC and RD ARP Entries, in paEcELE23Sa(). - JAGad33804: The fix is to ensure that one clears the mBuf, while processing the Multi-Cast Send VCC Disconnect Indication. mBuf should be set to NULL while processing mcast send vcc disconnect indication. - JAGab50672: Modified paEcHccDatInd(),paEcELE13S9() and paEcELE17Sa() functions so that usrTLVBuf memory is freed once it's use is over. - JAGad26995: The stream server resets the q_ptr field of both read and write queues when unlinking a stream. - JAGad71898: atminit is modified to read the VPI/VCI bits from the card if an attempt to set the bits fails with EINVAL and retry setting the bits with the read VPI/VCI bits. A warning is printed on stderr to change the configuration through SAM. - JAGad17083,JAGad77776: ILMI now reads the configuration file /etc/atm/ilmid.debug.conf at startup and when receiving SIGHUP to see if debug is enabled. - JAGac42555: During the ATM subsytem initialization some of the error messages were directed to 'stdout' which resulted in SAP package not starting as it was wrongly interpreting these error messages. As a fix to this problem, these error messages are now redirected to 'stderr' rather than 'stdout'. - JAGad16083: The solution is to allocate a new mblk big enough to hold the arp data plus the 36 bytes of MAX RIF length and use this new mblk for further processing. - JAGad00564: The stack oveflow happened due to two reasons - The stack depth was too deep (32 levels) and functions on the stack were using large local variables. The fix is to allocate Trillium's PaMngmt structure from the heap, instead of using stack. - JAGad65160: This fix is already present in the base release for 11.11. The code to save the hardware revision in the ift structure has been back ported from 11.11 to 11.00. - JAGad98237: The code is changed such that the requests are sent first at 1 second, and then after 2 seconds, etc till it hits a maximum value of 60 seconds. After that it is sent once every 60 seconds. PHNE_22034: - JAGad06362: data page fault panic in hdm_disconnect_req. A function frees the VC resource incorrectly which is again freed by hdm_disconnect_req function - JAGad04560: Can not initialize link with Lucent M770 switch MAC address data sent by ILMI is expressed in ASCII rather than HEX. - JAGad07300: rstatd hangs on systems that have ATM installed. Control message sent by the rstatd was discarded by the the driver on /dev/atm device. That is why rstatd was blocked in getmsg call. - JAGad21318: System panic during boot in alx_complete_conreq The various error paths in alx_complete_conreq grabs the OPEN_LIST lock before releasing the IFT lock. Since they have both the same order, the kernel panics. - JAGad14719: System panics during boot from /sbin/rc2.d/S310atm in getmsg_subr, with message: panic Buffer Overrun. The driver is reusing the memory block (mblk) carrying a DL_BIND_REQ to reply with a DL_BIND_ACK which does not fit in the buffer. - JAGad24379: Data page fault panic in amGenStaInd In amPtyComEVTINV function, amGenStaInd is called with a parameter which is freed. - JAGac86517, JAGad03364: Unable to traffic in an HA configuration, when the primary interface comes up after both primary and backup interfaces had been down. When all interfaces are down, we switch back to primary IP. At that time MAC address is all zeros. When later, primary comes up, IP does not refreshes its MAC address to the newly up MAC address. - JAGad02116: Data page fault panic in alx_read_resume A function incorrectly tries to grab resource while in certain states of VC - JAGac79031: ifOperStatus (for "Operational Status") and ifAdminStatus (for "Administrative status") are inconsistent for CIP interface. ifOperStatus and ifAdminStatus objects were not updated properly. - JAGad01352: Data memory protection fault or unaligned data reference panic in LIF_F_handler when using Token Ring source routing. The panic is caused by the reception of a token ring packet with a RIF with an odd length. This odd length of RIF is used for offset to point to ushort pointer field. Resolution: - JAGad06362: Now make sure that VC resource is freed only in hdm_disconnect_req function. - JAGad04560: Function which encodes the MAC address into the ILMI reply has been corrected. Now ILMI sends 6 binary octets instead of 12 ASCII. - JAGad07300: Now, driver sends a DL_ERROR_ACK (DL_BADPRIM) when receiving an unknown control message namely M_PROTO and M_PCPROTO. - JAGad21318: The IFT lock is released in the error paths of alx_complete_conreq before grabing the OPEN_LIST lock. - JAGad14719: The incoming buffer containing DL_BIND_REQ is freed and a new mblk is allocated to return DL_BIND_ACK. - JAGad24379: Changed function amPtyComEVTINV. Now parameter is copied locally before it is freed and this copy is passed to amGenStaInd. - JAGac86517, JAGad03364: The atm HA monitor daemon (hatmmon) behavior has been modified to only switch ip addresses over an interface which is up. That ensures that when IP request the information, the interface will return relevant information. - JAGad02116: The function checks the state of VC before grabing the resource. - JAGac79031: Now for both, CIP and LANE, both ifAdminStatus and ifOperStatus are being updated properly. - JAGad01352: Drop the packet if rif lenght is odd. This is permitted by the standard. PHNE_20948: - JAGad01337: Elan interface unable to go up even after the ATM card or the interface are reset. This problem was caused by the fact that some errors were not taken into account during the configuration of the LEC SAP (Service access point). In this case the Layer Manager waits for the LEC to complete the configuration while the LEC having experience an error condition, is in a state where the Layer Manager will have to reconfigure the SAP. - JAGad01341: Data page fault in function paEcELE11S7 when the LECS is restarted. The LEC provider and user interface is direct function call based. Some actions may result to the the same layer being recalled and some structured being freed. If these structures are accessed later this may cause a panic. Some of such reentrances were not taken into account. - JAGac46775: data page fault in function bcopy_pxcu_method. The panic is caused by a defect in LANE function which processes addition and deletion of multicast mac addresses. When the mac address to be deleted is different from the default multicast mac addresses (01005E000001/01005E000000), a NULL pointer was passed to the function bcopy. - JAGab71976: SAM is unable to list installed network cards if The ATM subsystem is not initialized. When the ATM subsystem is not initialized and SAM is requested to list installed network cards, if SAM discovers an installed ATM card, it tries to have some information about the card, but as the necessary device files are not created, an error occurred. That leads SAM to abort the operation. - JAGac57113: channel error in driver atm2pci panic on V-class servers. On V-class driver and card communicate through shared memory managed by the EPIC. If two processors write to the same shared memory location, the order the writes are actually executed is not guaranteed. To guarantee the order a read should be performed between the writes to flush pending reads. In some corner cases, required reads were missing. This leads to channel errors. - JAGab64981: data transfer problems over an ATM CIP interface with very large MTU size (> 32K). If a MTU size greater than the standard default MTU of 9180 is configured, there may be some interoperability problems if the same MTU is not used for all interfaces in the same LIS. Moreover for large MTU sizes (> 32K) TCP/IP parameters must be tuned appropriately. So far SAM was not providing this information for large MTU sizes. - JAGab69572: interoperability problems caused by LANE eavesdropping. Some proprietary extensions of LANE do not interoperate with LANE emulation eavesdropping. HP implementation was not providing any support to disable eavesdropping. - JAGab77832: Cannot join LANE services if the LAN type is not specified during the configuration phase. In a few configurations, LANE services may require the LEC to explicitely specify the LAN type to either 802.3/Ethernet or 802.5. HP implementation was not providing users the capacity to configure the LAN type. - JAGac40939: An ATM LEC interface is unable to become operational after carrier lost when the LECS address is configured from network. When the LECS address is configured from network, the LEC should retrieve the address through ILMI. When the carrier is lost and come back, ILMI should recon- nect to its PVC and re-initialize its resources for this link. If the LEC requests the address before ILMI is ready, the request is rejected and the LEC tries to use the well known address. If the LECS is not con- figured to listen to the well known address, The LEC cannot establish a connection with the LECS. -JAGac77694: the ATM SNMP subagent (atmsubagt) daemon cannot run on a system with PA 1.1. The ATM subagent daemon was compiled for PA RISC 2.0 architecture. Which prevents it from running on system with PA RISC 1.1. Resolution: - JAGad01337: All error cases are now notify to the Layer manager so that it can take appropriate action. - JAGad01341: Layer Re-entrance is now taken into account in the manipulation of objects. - JAGac46775: Now the pointer to the multicast mac address is passed to bcopy. - JAGab71976: Now if the ATM subsystem is not initialized, SAM propose to initialize the ATM subsystem to be able to list ATM cards. If the user chooses to not initialize the ATM subsystem, ATM cards are not listed, but other installed network cards are listed. - JAGac57113: reads have been added to guarantee order of writes in the shared memory wherever it is necessary. -JAGab64981: if a MTU size greater than 9180 is configured, SAM warns the user to make sure that the same MTU is used for all interfaces on the same LIS and to tune TCP/IP parametrs appropritely. - JAGab69572: LANE eavesdropping can be disable now if the following is set in the ATM configuration file /etc/rc.config.d/atmconf: ATM_ELAN_NOEAVESDROP=1, before the ATM subsystem is initialized. - JAGab77832: the LAN type can now be specified in the LEC interface configuration file by setting either HP_ATM_LAN_TYPE=802.3 for 802.3/ethernet HP_ATM_LAN_TYPE=802.5 for token ring. -JAGac40939: Now the LEC makes sure that ILMI is ready before requesting the LECS address. -JAGac77694: the ATM SNMP subagent daemon is compiled now for PA RISC 1.1 to be able to run on both PA 1.1 and PA 2.0 platforms. PHNE_19506: - JAGab65558:data page fault in function paMcRemoveIngressEntry. The panic was caused by a bad parameter passed to function paMcRemoveIngressEntry. - JAGab63567: ATM subsystem start-up failure when no ATM card installed. This problem is caused by the fact that the start-up script started some ATM daemons but ATM driver does not let them access some devices if no ATM card is installed. - 5003429381: Static routes over ATM elan interface fail with error: network unreachable. This is caused by the fact that some parameters needed to initialize the interface for IP, should be retrieved from the ELAN services. This may not be completed before the start-up script which add static routes is executed. In this case IP is not aware of the interface. Hence the error network unreachable. - 1653310185, JAGab64432: High error rate reported by Glance for Elan Interfaces. The MIB-II counter ifInErrors was incremented each time a packet was received is a SAP that is not bound with IP. This is case for instance when edge device forward packets broadcasted on SAP 0xFF, or for back-up interface on a HA configuration. - 1653308841, JAGab64430: Cannot do Token Ring source routing if LECS does not provide Segment ID in the LE_CONFIGURE_RESPONSE. The LEC stack was not retrieving the Segment from the packet to be able to do source routing. - JAGab77735: MAC LEARP entries not deleted or updated. The problem was caused by incorrect implementation of functions which manage MAC entries. In one case the function which starts aging timer was called with a bad parameter. This was resulting to the timer not being started. - 5003462879, JAGab64966: ATM driver logs error messages which are just informative. ATM driver was logging some informative messages in ERROR class. - 5003453373, JAGab64953: a patch can be installed on a subsequent release. The product releases the patch applies to where documented but this was not enforced. - JAGab83458: Impossible to configure Lan Emulation interfaces when a multiple of 8 number of cards installed. This is caused by the fact that in the function which handles general configuration of LANE, a local variable of insufficent size was used to save the number of ressources to allocate. When there were more than one ATM cards installed, an incorrect number of ressources was allocated. For multiple of a 8 number of cards, no ressource at all was allocated. This resulted to LANE general configuration not being performed. Resolution: - JAGab65558:Now call paMcRemoveIngressEntry with the correct parameters. - JAGab63567: Start-up script has ben changed to check if at least one ATM card is installed before proceeding to card dependant initialization. - 5003429381: Start-up script has been changed to be able to use a configurable parameter to synchronize initialization of Elan interfaces. - 1653310185, JAGab64432: MIB II counter ifInErrors is no longer incremented if a packet is received with a SAP that is not bound with IP. - 1653308841, JAGab64430: the Segment ID is now retrieved from the packets if it is not provided in LE_CONFIGURED_RESPONSE. - JAGab77735: The function which starts aging timer is now called with the right parameter. - 5003462879, JAGab64966: corresponding errors are now logged in the right class. - 5003453373, JAGab64953: Now when a patch is installed, the version of the product is checked. - JAGab83458: The local variable is now declared with the correct size. Enhancement: No (superseded patches contained enhancements) PHNE_26730: Enhancements were delivered in this patch or one it has replaced.
