	When a 32 bit application with appropriate 64-bit
	extension uses 64-bit fcntl(2) interfaces, it will fail
	with EOVERFLOW as the error number. This failure will be
	seen when such an application tries to access or lock more
	than MAX_LOCK32_SIZE (2 GB) in a file using fcntl(2).

Defect Description:
	PHKL_30792:
	( SR:8606353788 CR:JAGaf14582 )
	A check for 32-bit system call was performed in a common
	piece of code for both 32-bit and 64-bit fcntl(2)
	interfaces. This limits the maximum lock size to be
	MAX_LOCK32_SIZE for all 32-bit applications irrespective of
	whether 32-bit or 64-bit fcntl(2) interface is used.

	Resolution:
	The check for 32-bit application is performed only when
	32-bit fcntl(2) interfaces are used. This check is
	removed from the common code for 32-bit and 64-bit fcntl(2)
	interfaces.

	Panic happens due to the usage of a NULL pointer in fcntl().

	Resolution:
	Avoided accessing NULL pointer before it is checked for
	validity.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHKL_30792

	5. Run swinstall to install the patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
			  -s /tmp/PHKL_30792.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in 
	/var/adm/sw/save/PHKL_30792.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
	option in the swinstall command above:

		-x patch_save_files=false

	WARNING: If patch_save_files is false when a patch is installed,
		 the patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.
