Symptoms:
	PHKL_30781:

	Modifying the swap or dump configuration using the
	lvlnboot(1M) command have no effect on the kernel.
	Modifying swap and dump settings through the system
	files will also have no effect unless all optional
	parameters are specified. The problem is that the
	command returns successfully, but the kernel does not
	honor the settings. The kernel always dumps to the
	primary swap device.

Defect Description:
	PHKL_30781:
	( SR:8606339375 CR:JAGaf00304 )
	The kernel swap and dump configuration code was wrongly
	enforcing the usage of optional parameters (offset and
	blocks) for swap and dump settings. This causes all the
	settings made through the command lvlnboot or without
	optional parameters to be ignored.
	Since the kernel does this silently at boot time, the
	user will be surprised when the kernel dumps.

	Resolution:
	The kernel swap and dump configuration code has been
	modified to make sure that the optional parameters are
	treated that way.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHKL_30781

	5. Run swinstall to install the patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
			  -s /tmp/PHKL_30781.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in 
	/var/adm/sw/save/PHKL_30781.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
	option in the swinstall command above:

		-x patch_save_files=false

	WARNING: If patch_save_files is false when a patch is installed,
		 the patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	available in the product readme:

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
