	For an active directory on VxFS, readdir(3C) may
	prematurely return NULL and set errno to EINVAL.
	This problem can cause commands such as ls(1)
	to fail to find a file in a directory that does
	actually exist.

Defect Description:
	PHKL_30551:
	( SR:8606235312 CR:JAGae04484 )
	Due to file removal or reorganization in a directory,
	the offset into a directory used by readdir(3C) might
	not point to the beginning of a valid directory entry.
	In this case, readdir(3C) returns NULL and sets errno
	to EINVAL.

	Resolution:
	Code changes were done so that readdir(3C) reads the
	next valid entry rather than returning EINVAL.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHKL_30551

	5. Run swinstall to install the patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
			  -s /tmp/PHKL_30551.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in 
	/var/adm/sw/save/PHKL_30551.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
	option in the swinstall command above:

		-x patch_save_files=false

	WARNING: If patch_save_files is false when a patch is installed,
		 the patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.
