This defect has been found during internal testing. It has not occurred on any customer system as far as we know. Defect Description: PHKL_30400: ( SR:8606345227 CR:JAGaf06077 ) The maximum pathname in HP-UX is limited to 1024 characters. Linux has a larger limit and NFS Version 3 exposes it. Calculating the size of a pathname, KI code assumes that the pathname pointer obtained from the NFS code is valid. This assumption is invalid in a heterogeneous NFS environment. Resolution: Do not calculate the pathname size. Use the size provided by the NFS Version 3 server in symbolic link attributes.
