The stack trace may look similar to the following: panic+0x60 report_trap_or_int_and_panic+0x5c trap+0xf58 $RDB_trap_patch+0x30 strlen+0xc ki_rfscall+0x300 rfscall+0x47c rfs3call+0x78 nfs3_readlink+0x144 readlink+0xb8 syscall+0x6ec $syscallrtn+0x0 PHKL_28052: ( SR:8606248778 CR:JAGae15175 ) Glance/UX incorrectly attributes the information about processes running in a non-default processor set (PSET) to Process Resource Manager (PRM) group zero (PRM_SYS). Defect Description: PHKL_30398: ( SR:8606339504 CR:JAGaf00433 ) The maximum pathname in HP-UX is limited to 1024 characters. Linux has a larger limit and NFS Version 3 exposes it. Calculating the size of a pathname KI code assumes that the pathname pointer obtained from the NFS code is valid. This assumption is invalid in a heterogeneous NFS environment. Resolution: Do not calculate the pathname size. Use the size provided by the NFS Version 3 server in symbolic link attributes. PHKL_28052: ( SR:8606248778 CR:JAGae15175 ) Glance/UX interprets Kernel Instrumentation (KI) Fair Share Scheduler (FSS) ID of zero as PRM_SYS. KI FSS ID of a process running in a non-default PSET is set to zero. It should be -1. Resolution: Set KI FSS ID of a process in a non-default PSET to -1. On versions of Glance/UX prior to C.03.55, the -1 is not handled correctly causing the data about any non-default PSET process to appear in the last application group.
