PHKL_26183: ( SR:8606232242 CR:JAGae01478 ) Can not allocate new semaphores despite enough space being available. Defect Description: PHKL_28703: ( SR:8606292493 CR:JAGae56254 ) This product update contains minor enhancements required to increase the nmber of semaphores available system wide. The number of semaphores available system wide was limited to 32767 by the kernel tunable SEMMNS. Resolution: The limit on the number of semaphores available system wide has been increased to 1000000. PHKL_26183: ( SR:8606232242 CR:JAGae01478 ) The space allocated for use by semaphores becomes fragmented under heavy use of semaphores. Semaphore allocation may be prevented due to this fragmentation. Resolution: Semaphores are dynamically allocated rather than assigned from memory allocated on boot. Enhancement: Yes PHKL_28703: The limit on the number of semaphores has been increased from 32767 to 1000000. Additional enhancements were delivered in a patch this one has superseded. Please review the Defect Description text for more information.
