Defect Description: PHKL_27729: ( SR:8606274099 CR:JAGae38177 ) 'ioscan -u' lists usable devices. However 'ioscan -u' is not searching for interfaces which are without a major number, hence they are not listed. Resolution: A new qualifier has been added to the kernel. When a search is done using this qualifier, all usable devices including interface cards without major numbers are returned. This patch implements the new search qualifier in the kernel. The ioscan patch PHCO_27818 or any of its superceding patches modifies the existing 'ioscan -u' algorithm to use this new kernel qualifier and return all the usable devices in the system.
