Defect Description: PHKL_25593: ( SR:8606221226 CR:JAGad90360 ) If the debugger is interrupted while trying to attach to a single threaded process that is sleeping uninterruptibly, it will return to the user without unsuspending the debugee thread. Since the debugee's suspend count is not decremented, it will be suspended forever. Resolution: The kernel debug attach routine now checks the return from the debugger's sleep. If the sleep returns an error, we know that the debugger has been interrupted by someone other than the debugee, so we decrement the debugee suspend count.
