This patch is part of a three patch enhancement to provide this functionality. Defect Description: PHKL_23400: ( SR:1653309203 CR:JAGab25292 ) PHKL_23400, provides the pstat pre-enablement for the kernel support to return the information about POSIX message queues and named semaphores. The kernel patch, PHKL_23401, must be installed to provide the pstat enhancement for the kernel support to return the information about POSIX message queues and named semaphores. The commands patch, PHCO_23376, must be installed to retrieve and then display the information about POSIX message queues and named semaphores. All three patches are required to enable this new functionality. If any one of these three is not applied, then this patch will have no impact on your system. Each of these patches is independently installable. Resolution: Two new functions have been added to the pstat() interface system call to provide information about POSIX message queues and named semaphores.
