	HPUX 11.11 does not provide an interface to return

	This patch is part of a three patch enhancement to provide
	this functionality.

Defect Description:
	PHKL_23400:

	PHKL_23400, provides the pstat pre-enablement for the kernel
	support to return the information about POSIX message queues
	and named semaphores.

	The kernel patch, PHKL_23401, must be installed to provide
	the pstat enhancement for the kernel support to return the
	information about POSIX message queues and named semaphores.

	The commands patch, PHCO_23376, must be installed to
	retrieve and then display the information about POSIX
	message queues and named semaphores.

	All three patches are required to enable this new
	functionality. If any one of these three is not applied,
	then this patch will have no impact on your system. Each
	of these patches is independently installable.

	Resolution:
	Two new functions have been added to the pstat() interface
	system call to provide information about POSIX message
	queues and named semaphores.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHKL_23400

	5. Run swinstall to install the patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
			  -s /tmp/PHKL_23400.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in 
	/var/adm/sw/save/PHKL_23400.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, use the patch_save_files option:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
			  -x patch_save_files=false -s /tmp/PHKL_23400.depot

	WARNING: If patch_save_files is false when a patch is installed,
		 the patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	For future reference, the contents of the PHKL_23400.text file is 
	available in the product readme:

		swlist -l product -a readme -d @ /tmp/PHKL_23400.depot

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:
