        PHKL_5816:
        Two EISA slots not available on C Class workstations

Defect Description:
        PHKL_5816:
        HP-UX 9.05 only enables the first EISA slot on the
        C Class (C100/C110) workstations.  The remaining
        two EISA slots are not being correctly configured
        and initialized.  The !HWPC0E1.CFG file is used by
        eisa_config command to initialize the eisa system board.

        1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

        2. Copy the patch to your /tmp directory and unshar it:

                cd /tmp
                cp patch_source/PHKL_5816 .
                sh PHKL_5816

        3. Become root and run update:

                /etc/update -s /tmp/PHKL_5816.updt PHKL_5816

        Update moves the original software to
        /system/PHKL_5816/orig.  Keep this file to recover from any
        potential problems.  You should move the .text file to
        /system/PHKL_5816 for future reference.

        To put this patch on a magnetic tape and update from the
        tape drive, use dd:

                dd if=PHKL_5816.updt of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2048

        workstations that need access to all three
        EISA slots.  If installed, this patch must
        be install prior to all other patches to
