Patch Name: PHKL_2838 Patch Description: s700 9.01 scsi tape driver cannot switch mag tape density This patch fixes a problem with the SCSI tape driver in which it would unsuccessfully set density to 1600bpi for the 7980S tape drive. In effect all tapes would be written at 6250bpi without the user's knowledge. The patch remedies the situation and allows 1600bpi tapes to be successfully written on the 7980S tape drive.
