Defect Description:
        PHNE_7371:

        Fixed the permissions issue for creating the spool and
        <user_temp> directories.

        PHNE_2827:

        pcnfsd version 2 supports new features which became
        available with Sun's PC-NFS 4.0 release. There are
        also other vendors which supply PC-NFS and may
        support the following pcnfsd version 2 features:
        Enhanced user authentication, Support of System V
        print model, cancel print requests, lists all local and
        remote printers defined on a server, display a list of
        print jobs for a printer, display status of a printer,
        configuration file. pcnfsd version 2 is backwards
        compatible with version 1.

        1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

        2. Copy the patch to your /tmp directory and unshar it:

                cd /tmp
                cp patch_source/PHNE_7371 .
                sh PHNE_7371

        3. Become root and run update:

                /etc/update [-r [kernel_gen_file]] -s \
                        /tmp/PHNE_7371.updt PHNE_7371

        Update moves the original software to
        /system/PHNE_7371/orig.  Keep this file to recover from any
        potential problems.  You should move the .text file to
        /system/PHNE_7371 for future reference.

        To put this patch on a magnetic tape and update from the
        tape drive, use dd:

                dd if=PHNE_7371.updt of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2048

Special Installation Instructions:  
        IMPORTANT NOTE

        Note : pcnfsd should not be running on the system when
               the patch is installed.  The update process will
               detect this and the installation will be aborted.
               Options are to run update once more or re-invoke
               the customize script ("/system/PHNE_7371/customize
               HP-PA") when this has been rectified.  Ensure no
               users are using pcnfsd before you kill the process.
